Presence of skills and ability to: watchkeeping, voyage planning, working and correction all navigational charts and publications, operation with GMDSS equipment, operation with ECDIS, AIS, GPS, NAVTEX, ARPA, manual maneuvering and handling of vessel, understanding principles of cargo handling, stowage and securing, organization and execute mooring operations, handling of gantry crane, working on deck. Knowledge of life-saving and fire-fighting appliances, fire preventions, main principles of medical aid and medical care, good seamanship practice. Valid biometric passport, which can facilitate boarding in any European port. English at a good level.
