Last years I have performed my duties as a Chief Mate on the ERRV/Stand-By ships. Working with the British crew I am sure that the English language knowledge should not be an issue. I am aware that joining a new company I will sign on as a junior officer even though I am in possession of the Chief Mate's certificate. It will not affect my morale and I am prepared for that, stepping one or two levels down before I reach again the position of a senior officer. I am sure I can still provide a very good performance on deck as a deck officer. I know that I need to prove my abilities for a Chief Mate rank, and I will succeed. However if I am going to join the vessel as a Chief Mate I would prefer to join the vessel couple of weeks in advance before commencement of my contract. It would allow me to familiarise myself with ship's routines and operations. As a creative, self-motivated, communicative, responsible and loyal person I am always looking for new challenges and as a team player I believe in mutual respect at all times. There is no doubt that the safety of the ship and the crew is the highest priority for me as well as the owner and the client’s satisfaction. Therefore, I am confident I can fulfil most, if not all of the expectations. This is why I wish to be considered for employment with a new company.
