Dear Mr/Mrs: Hello, my name is Daniel Cabral, interested in a vacancy as a Deck Cadet, I have applied to several companies in order to have an opportunity to develop my career on board, since I finished university studies. So I would appreciate your consideration for this job. I have worked since am 14 years old as a children's carer in a tourist attraction and salesman in a shop every summer until three years ago, besides I worked two years in Jerez Airport where I really enjoyed working in team until I start at university. Here in Spain is difficult to work and go to university since if we miss many lessons we do not pass the subjects. Now, while I am looking for a vacancy as a Deck Cadet, I am working as a stock boy in a supermarket to CocaCola. During the five years at university I have obtained several competency certificates as well as developed several skills about the Navigation of ship, Cargo Handling and Storage, Ship Stability, Ship Manoeuvring and Ship Management, besides I learnt about Chemical, physical, Mathematics, Astronomy and Medicine or how handling of the bridge devices and the other equipments aboard. That is say I have learnt about all points of navigation, then I am wishing implement my skill if would be possible on board a Tanker, a Container Vessel or a Bulk Carrier.
