I have more than 20 years of experience as Captain, and a strong understanding of the safety and operational requirements for Vessels of General Cargo and Multipurpose types (including geared Vessels with cranes). I have great experience of handling of wide range of Cargoes: from all kinds of Timber Products, Logs, Grain, Bulk, Steel Products (and many other various General Cargoes) to Trucks, Cars, Containers, Heavyweight and Project Cargoes including Deck Cargoes and Dangerous Cargoes and Goods. I am well-versed in navigating Vessels in all types of weather including heavy ice navigation. I am an expert in radar/ARPA maneuvering in dense traffic, restricted visibility and narrow waters. Also, I have extensive experience in ECDIS route planning and navigation (including areas of jammed GPS) all round European Trade Area (Baltic, Bothnia, North, Mediterranean and Black Seas, etc.) and in many other regions (Ireland, UK, Norway, etc. – practically World Wide). I am confident that I have the necessary skills and experience to be a successful Captain at your Company.
