I am Orkun ALEN currently working as a chief officer on AHTS Cengiz Han at Aras Marine Co. for 2 years and working as a cyber security engineer for programs like paypal,facebook,yahoo and at&t during my free time.After completing my sea training as deck cadet on LPG (M/T HABAS) and Roro vessels(M/V UND EGE) started my career at 2008 as deck officer on chemical/oil tanker vessels with several sizes and companies for 2 years.Than i decided to move on and it can be better for me to experience different kind of vessels to improve my knowledge in shipping industry.I worked on Ro-ro ,ro-pax,bulk carriers and general cargo vessels as 3rd,2nd and Chief officer both with turkish and multi national crew completed my contracts with very good references from companies like UN RORO(DFDS),HABAS,ARMADOR-CHEMFLEET SHIPPING and ICDAS.For the last two years of my life i have met with offshore bussiness and that was the time i have decided i have found the job i want for all this time.I worked on Ahts Ataman and Ahts Cengizhan as Chief officer which are both supply and anchor handling vessels in a seismic research project completed hundreds of supply and support operation so i have a very good knowledge of offshore supply and support together with siesmic research.I really want to improve my experience in this field if i have given a chance in supply ,ahts ,psv or any kind of vessel in that kind.When i got old and take a look back i really want to say i have worked on jobs that less man have courage to because that is what offshore bussiness is
